Assistant Director - Abby Hardage

My name is Abby Hardage and I am the Assistant Director of the Pirate Pacesetters. I am from Wylie, Texas where I began dancing at the age of 6. I was an active member of the Wylie Drill Team, Burnett Junior High Sweethearts, and The Sapphires at Wylie East High School where I served as Captain my senior year. I went on to college at Texas Tech University and was accepted into their Dance program. At Texas Tech I received my Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2022.

After Texas Tech, I decided to move back to the Wylie area where I served as the interim Assistant Director for the Wylie East Sapphires for the Spring semester. I now live in the Wylie area with my two dogs Ranger and Nala that I love dearly and am close to my amazing niece and nephew Quinn and Clay.

I have been involved with Drill Team since the 4th grade and I am still active in the Drill Team community. I now teach Dance I-IV in the classroom and am involved with the Kaiser Center of Performing Arts as an instructor. I have been at Wylie High since 2023 and I am so excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve the Pacesetters and be a part of the AHMO culture here at Wylie High School!!
